Our driver will pick you up from Hotel Greenwich at 08:00am in TOYOTA LAND CRUISER SAFARI CAR OPEN ROOTH 4×4 car suitable for travel within the Rwanda terrain and help you to make a short city tour including Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Genocide Memorial
Tips:
The Kigali Genocide Memorial keeps the memories of the 1994 Tutsi Genocide fresh. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there taking one back to one of the atrocities of human life. There is a visitor centre for those wishing to understand the events leading up to this atrocity. After that, you will visit the Liberation Museum and transfer you to Akagera National Park, accommodation to Akagera Game Lodge. The driver is also a guide so he will be your private driver throughout your trip in Rwanda.

You will stay here for the next two nights. Located in Akagera National Park, Akagera Game Lodge is the perfect place to sit back, relax and soak in magnificent views of central Africa’s largest protected wetland system.
Akagera boat Safari
Tips:
In the afternoon at 03:00pm, your driver will go with you for the boat safari. You can carry a drink with you to enjoy while on the boat. Afterwards you will come back to the accommodation for overnight.
At 6:00am after breakfast, you will leave the accommodation and go to the park for the game drive. Your driver is also a trained guide so he will answer any questions and help you to sport the animals.

At night we have arranged for you night fishing at the lake. This activity takes two hours. A guide will pick you from the accommodation and be with you for the activity. He will also arrange the equipment.

Lake Burera-Rubavu
Tips:
Today you will leave around 10:00am and go to Rubavu! This journey takes about 2 hours!
While in Rubavu, you will stay at Inzu Lodge for the next two nights! Welcome to the Eco lodge which provides ecological accommodations and a unique tourism experience while respecting Rwanda’s traditions and benefiting the local community.
Gisenyi sunset kayaking
Tips:
At Rubavu, in the afternoon you will enjoy kayaking on lake kivu. Your driver will take you to the starting point. You will have a guide with you for the activity. Explore Lake Kivu’s scenic shores on a short excursion, find tranquillity on the clean and warm water, meet the fisher folk at sunset as they paddle out for night fishing. You will then come back to the accommodation with beautiful memories!
Rubavu-Karongi

Today with your driver you will leave for Karongi! This journey takes about 3hours

While in Karongi you will be staying at the Rwiza village for one night at the shores of Lake Kivu! Enjoy the breath-taking views of the lake.
Karongi-Nyungwe National Park

On this day, you will move from Karongi to Nyungwe! This journey takes about 3 hours!
3 nights Kitabi ECO Centre Prince’s Palace –Double or Tween room
Tips:
You will stay at the Kitabi Eco centre for 3 nights! This is an adorable traditional accommodation located just 5minutes (2km) from Nyungwe Forest, giving you an African tropical experience. You will live the sunset views from this place!

In the morning, you will leave for a hike at the forest with a guide where you will enjoy the beautiful forest atmosphere, bird watching and waterfall trails. You are likely to meet the locals on the way who are friendly and will quickly say hi as you pass by them.
Nyungwe Canopy Walk
Tips:
As you walk you will also enjoy the canopy walk giving you bird views. The walk in the forest and the canopy walk takes around 2-3 hours which is an exhilarating experience on a suspended bridge, which is 70mt high. Your guides will let you know the do’s and don’ts.

It is time to go back to Kigali! It takes about 5 hours!
King’s palace museum
Tips:
Three hours from Nyungwe it’s time to visit the King’s palace museum on your way to Kigali! So your driver will stop here. You will then do the visit and later proceed to Kigali!
Today you have a free day to chill and visit Kigali! You can visit a local market to buy souvenirs!
