5 DAYS GORILLA TREKKING & WILDLIFE SAFARI

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located in the Southwestern region of Uganda. It is heavily forested
with a rich diversity of flora and fauna and is home to half the worldโ€™s remaining mountain gorillas.
Bwindi Impenetrable forest is divided into different trail heads where gorilla trekking tours happens. You
can also see a large variety of butterflies, birds and shrubs in this park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is
also located in Southwestern Uganda. The Park boasts a large variety of wildlife including four of
the big five game animals, large numbers of Uganda Kob which can sometimes be seen in the hundreds
and over 400 species of birds.

Early morning departure from Kampala to Bwindi. You get to see the green countryside along the way to Bwindi
including large banana plantations and the beautiful hills of Kigezi highlands. Stopover in Mbarara for lunch then
proceed to Bwindi where you arrive in time for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast go for Gorilla trekking after briefing from the park guides. Gorilla trekking may take anywhere
from a few hours to a full day. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park where you arrive in time for lunch. After checking into
your safari lodge accommodation and lunch go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel where you will see hippos and
crocodiles and a variety of bird species including the African fish eagle and the pied Kingfisher. Return to the
lodge for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast with morning at leisure. After lunch go for an afternoon game drive on the open savannah where you
can see hundreds of Uganda Kob, herds of buffalo and elephants and there is a possibility of seeing lions, leopards
and hyenas. Return to safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart for Kampala with a brief stopover at the equator.
