Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth national parks are located in the western part of Uganda. Lake Mburo is the smallest park in Uganda whereas Queen Elizabeth is the second largest of the parks in Uganda. Though small Lake Mburo has a large variety of wildlife including Impala found nowhere else in Uganda, Zebra, large herds of buffalo, Topi, Waterbuck and giraffes. Queen Elizabeth boasts large numbers of Uganda Kob which can be seen in their hundreds, together with elephants, lions, hyenas. Hippos and crocodiles can be seen along the Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Both parks boast a large species of birds with Lake Mburo recording 350 species and Queen Elizabeth over 600 species.

Depart Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park.
Stopover at the Equator for some photographs. Proceed to the park. As you drive into the park you can see Zebras and antelopes like Impala, Topi and waterbucks. After lunch go for afternoon game drive. You can expect to see herds of buffalo, Giraffe and a variety of bird species. Return to safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at leisure then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. You can expect to see Hippos and crocodiles and some wild game like
buffalos and elephants along the water bank. Queen Elizabeth is great for bird watching. You can see birds like the African Fish Eagle, African Finfoot and African Skimmer among others. Return to safari lodge for dinner and overnight

Early morning game drive where you can expect to see large herds of Uganda Kob, buffalo, elephants and the giant
forest hog. There is always a chance of seeing lions on an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast
and rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch there is the option of going for an afternoon game drive in search of
Africa’s elusive cat, the leopard. Also watch out for Hyenas,more herds of elephant and buffalo. The beauty of Queen
Elizabeth includes crater lakes and the scenic Mount Rwenzori Ranges which can be seen from the park. Return to lodge for
dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart for Kampala with another brief stopover at the equator. Have lunch en route to Kampala.
