With this tour, you will visit Mountain Gorilla in the Volcanoes National Park and Iby’iwacu cultural village as well as a comprehensive tour of the Kigali city. This tour will begin and end in Kigali which is Rwanda’s capital.
Arrival in Kigali, transfer to Volcanoes National Park
The arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. Meet and Greet assistance. You will be warmly welcomed by our Hotel Greenwich Tour and travel representative outside the customs and immigration hall holding a signage that has your name on it for easy identification. He will then transfer you from Kigali International Airport to Musanze. On arrival at the lodge, you will check in followed by lunch and afternoon for leisure.
Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali
Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare Mountain Gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young. After your trek, you will drive to the lodge; freshen up before your lunch. Afternoon at 3PM, we will visit Iby’iwacu cultural Village made by reformed ex-poachers to learn more about culture, history and lifestyle of Rwandans.
Transfer to Kigali and evening flight.
After breakfast, we will drive back to Kigali and have Kigali City Tour. Peacefully nestled along picturesque hilltops, Kigali is a thriving African city immediately notable for its cleanliness, orderliness, and hospitality. Kigali is a great place to end any Rwanda journey as it’s conveniently located in the geographic centre of the country. The city is clean and safe, with extremely welcoming people. Travelers will enjoy exploring the great cultural activities including several award winning museums, burgeoning music scene, and some of East Africa’s most memorable dining experiences.
Everything comes to an end including this wonderful adventure through Rwanda. Fully equipped, pack your bags to catch the plane home. With a nice health colour on your cheeks, you get on the plane and with your eyes closed, your seat back, reminisce away about the cool adventures you have experienced.
