Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest park found in the North western part of Uganda.
At this park, you can see four of the big five game animals, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River and
visit the spectacular Murchison Falls.
Depart Kampala early morning heading North West. Brief stopover at Masindi town. Proceed to Murchison Falls
National Park where you arrive in time for lunch. After check in at the safari lodge and lunch go for an afternoon game
drive on the northern bank of the river Nile. Expect to see Giraffes, herds of buffalos, Uganda Kob and possibly lions.
Return to Safari lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early morning game drive giving you a chance to see a variety of wildlife. You can expect to see elephants, more
giraffes, bushbucks, waterbucks, Jackson ’s hartebeest and Warthog. The park is also home to over 400 species of birds
like the ground hornbill, the rare Shoebill stork, Goliath heron and African Jacana. Return to lodge for breakfast.
Rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch go for boat ride on the Nile River. You can expect to see hippos, crocodiles
and some big game come to drink by the river. Return to Safari lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive to the top of Murchison Falls from where the water drops 43 meters through a 7 m wide
gorge with a thundering roar. Proceed to Kampala.
